One Nation Under God
How did we get here?
Far left and far right.
Neighbor against neighbor.
A nation divided.
How did we get here?
Two opposite extremes.
No middle ground.
Hardened hearts.
How did we get here?
Overwhelmed.
Over anxious.
Over it.
Simple.
We forgot who we are.
One nation under God.
One nation –
not two.
Under God.
Under His authority.
Under His leadership.
Under His guidance.
And we forgot
who the real enemy is.
It isn’t
the other
political party.
It isn’t
the neighbor with
a different opinion.
It is the
forces of evil
with one agenda –
divide and conquer.
So,
where do we go from here?
Like the prodigal son,
we often have
to discover first hand
there is no place
like home.
There is
no comfort,
no security,
no love
like the Fathers.
There is no
place better
to be
than to be
one nation under God.
Everything
God is
is everything
we need.
But,
it’s up to
you and me
to come
to our senses
and run to Him.
How did we get here?
I know how.
Chances are you do to.
Where do we go from here?
The answer is
amazingly simple
and sounds
a lot like
repentance and
amazing grace.
We run to the Father.
