Gracious Heavenly Father, How we lift Your name on high. You, always faithful, always kind, always merciful, God.
You who know us better than our dearest loves, love us the dearest and the best. You who know all our hidden thoughts and secret doings, love us with a love that is showcased to all.
You who know when we fall and when we fail, love us yet, still, and in spite of. You who know our love is fickle and sometimes withheld, love us with a love that is unstoppable.
Oh, Lord, our hearts almost can't comprehend a love like Yours, - a love so pure, a love so true, a love so unconditional and never-ending.
And yet, somehow, deep down in our spirit, we know Your love, a love too good to be true, is so very true.
We have seen it, We have felt it. We have received it. We have been restored and redeemed by it.
Only Your love, precious Lord, could stoop so very low and lift so very high. Forgive us, Father God.
