Come to Me Child
Are you tired, worn, and weary?
Come to me, Child. I will give you rest.
Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest.

Are you brokenhearted?
Come to me, Child. I will heal your heart.
He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
~Psalm 147:3
Are you fighting a battle?
Come to me, Child. I will fight for you.
The Lord will fight for you, and you can be still.
~Exodus 14:14
Are you afraid and alone?
Come to me, Child. I will never leave you.
Be strong and courageous!
Do not fear or tremble before them,
for the Lord your God is the one who is going with you.
He will not fail you or abandon you.
~Deuteronomy 31:6
Are you in need of peace?
Come to me, Child. I will give you peace.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you;
I do not give it to you as the world does.
Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage.
~John 14:27
Are you longing for change?
Come to me, Child. I will do a new thing.
Look, I am about to do something new.
Now it begins to happen!
Do you not recognize it?
Yes, I will make a road in the wilderness and paths in the wastelands.
~Isaiah 42:16
So then, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation;
what is old has passed away—look, what is new has come!

Are you confused and in need of direction?
Come to me, Child. I will show you the way.
I will lead the blind along an unfamiliar way;
I will guide them down paths they have never traveled.
I will turn the darkness in front of them into light,
and level out the rough ground.
This is what I will do for them.
I will not abandon them.

Come to me, Child. I will rescue you.
