The unexpectedness of who You are Jesus . . .

“Come to me,
all you who are
weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke on you
and learn from me,
because I am
gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.”
~Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭

That Jesus is humble and gentle . . .
especially in contrast to the world . . .
truly is a resting place for my soul.

To come and learn of Him,
to become humble and gentle, too –
in this I am slowly learning there is rest, too.

The unexpectedness of who you are Jesus
is just what the world needs!
